Senior Software Engineer

Understanding of RESTful API Design and Development

Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.

Proven experience in designing and implementing GraphQL.

Regular Interaction with AWS

Having regular calls with AWS to understand and trial new features and capabilities.

We predominantly use Node.js for the backend with React on the frontend. Infrastructure as Code is either Terraform or AWS CDK. To support all of this, we are building an internal open source retail experience wherever they may be.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will be the expert in vanilla Node.js and TypeScript .

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer working with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with automation testing frameworks.

Experience with Nest.js.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization.
